Audrey Neuman
Energy Advisor
Audrey joined the California Public Utilities Commission's Energy Division in 2017 as an analyst, and later served as a senior analyst, on the Transportation Electrification team. In this role, she served as a subject matter expert providing support to decision-makers in developing and evaluating policies on transportation electrification and its impact on the electric system; implementing legislation; and collaborating with other state agencies on transportation electrification and vehicle-grid integration policy. The intersectional nature of transportation electrification enabled Audrey to interface with diverse areas of the Commission’s work, including cost recovery, interconnection and energization, distribution and transmission grid planning, rate design, and distributed energy resources.
Audrey has been working in clean energy and climate change since 2013. Prior to joining the California Public Utilities Commission, she worked at Project Drawdown, a climate solutions research nonprofit, and earlier at Antenna Group, a communications and public relations firm for clean energy companies. Audrey received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
