Anne Nguyen, supervises Legal Division’s Government Law Section.  Anne has been a proud State of California attorney for almost 20 years, with very extensive experience on matters of state contracting, conflicts of interest, employment law, the Public Records Act, and privacy.  She is joining the CPUC from the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, where she was the lead attorney on employment matters, the Department’s Ethics Officer, Privacy Officer, and lead contracts attorney. Previous to DFPI, Anne was an attorney at the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, Department of Toxic Substances Control, and Department of State Hospitals. Anne graduated from U.C. Davis with a degree in Sociology and received her J.D. from the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, VA.
