Theresa Buckley, Assistant General Counsel

Theresa is the Assistant General Counsel for the State and Federal Advisory and Special Projects Section.  Since joining the Commission in 2020, she has worked on numerous matters, including operation and maintenance standards for battery storage facilities, the Transportation Network Company rulemaking, microgrids, and energy procurement. 

Before joining the Commission, Theresa worked with the City and County of San Francisco, for SunEdison, and for several private law firms.  Theresa obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, a Master of Public Affairs degree from Princeton, and her J.D. from UC Berkeley.
