Updates on Draft Resolution TL-19158
Background
Resolution TL-19158 grants Maryland TMS, Inc. (TMS) exemptions related to passenger transportation operations for officials and guests for the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup 2026 from specified provisions in Part 1.06, Part 4, and Part 6.01 of General Order 157-E for a 30-day period, the effectiveness of which is contingent on the approval of TMS’s application to operate as a Transportation Charter-Party Carrier of Passengers (TCP). This Draft Resolution will be on the agenda at the June 11, 2026 Commission meeting. When the Commission acts on the draft resolution, it may adopt all or part of it as written, amend or modify it, or set it aside and prepare its own order. Only when the Commission acts does the resolution become binding on the parties.
Any member of the public may serve comments on the Draft Resolution as provided in California Public Utilities Code § 311(g) and Rule 14.5 of the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Comments shall be sent via email to: TransportationPrograms@cpuc.ca.gov by June 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Public comments will be compiled and available for viewing.
