Energy Division will host the Annual Residential Electricity Rates Summit (RERS or Summit) on November 17, 2021 (Wednesday), 9:30am – 2:00pm, via Webex. In the Summit, the IOUs will provide updates to the Commission and the public on the progress toward reforming residential rates and transitioning customers to default time-of-use (TOU) rates. The RERS Forum will address programs across relevant proceedings at the Commission and other agencies that impact residential rate design and customers’ opportunities to respond to rates. This year, we’ll also share community-based organizations best practices for reaching critical customer groups about TOU rates and raising awareness.
