Clean Miles Standard Virtual Workshop: Interim GHG Plans

The Consumer Protection and Enforcement Division (CPED) staff will host a workshop on the Clean Miles Standard Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Plans (GHG Plans). Per Phase 1 Decision (D.)24-03-001, CMS Regulated Entities were required to submit the Interim GHG Plan by July 5, 2024. Three companies submitted an Interim GHG Plan. The Interim GHG Plans include the CMS Regulated Entities’ proposals for meeting CMS Annual Targets, for minimizing negative impact on low- and moderate-income drivers, other Phase 1 issues, and provide data for setting the CMS Regulatory Fee and threshold for CMS incentive eligibility.

The Interim GHG Plans were submitted via Tier 3 advice letters, which will require Commission resolution. The status of the advice letters can be found on the CMS Advice Letter Status webpage.

Each CMS Regulated Entity will present its submitted Interim GHG Plan and will answer questions from workshop participants – see the workshop agenda below.
