CPUC to Hold Post-Season/Pre-Season Public Briefings on Utility Public Safety Power Shutoffs

WHEN:
- August 7, 2024, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- August 8, 2024, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
WHY: The CPUC oversees the utilities’ preparation for and execution of PSPS events and has been driving the utilities to improve in response to lessons learned from previous PSPS events. The electric utilities submit their 2023 post-season reports to the CPUC by March 1, 2024, and 2024 pre-season reports to the CPUC by July 1, 2024.

Virtually: Access each briefing virtually via webcast or phone, as follows:
