REVISIONS TO THE SECTION 190 PRIORITY INDEX RANKING FORMULA
The Rail Crossings and Engineering Branch (RCEB) in the Rail Safety Division will host a workshop on the Section 190 Priority Index Ranking Formula on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, from 2pm – 4pm.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss and seek input and comments from local agencies and other interested parties on the current formula for the Existing At-Grade Crossing Nominated for Grade Separation, and what factors should be taken into consideration in order to improve the formula and attain a more comprehensive and competitive priority list in the proceeding to establish the Priority List FYs 2024-2025 and 2025-2026.
The current formula for the Existing At-Grade Crossing Nominated for Grade Separation is available in the current Order Instituting Investigation 21-06-018, Appendix 2: Priority Index Formulas.
