Authorization Status of Expedited Rail Crossing Applications
Commission Resolution SX-171 adopts an expedited review and approval process for rail crossing applications exempt from the requirements of California Public Utilities Code 1701.1. The table below provides the status of all applications filed with the CPUC’s Rail Crossings and Engineering Branch after July XX, 2026.
For rail crossing applications that are not exempt or those filed prior to July XX, 2026, documents can be found on the Commission’s Proceedings and Rulemaking webpage.
The public comment period is 30 calendar days from the Date Calendared.
