ESP Reminders

All registered Electric Service Providers have the following annual submission requirements as part of their rights and responsibilities as a program participant. These requirements include paying an annual program registration fee and filing notices about company activities and changes. Please review the below table for the schedule of annual required fees and paperwork:

Notice of Terms and Conditions and any change notices used during the latter half of the prior year.

Section 394.5 Notice: Notice of Customers Served

Your company must file this form if you:
1. Serve Residential and/or small Commercial accounts as part of a large customer contract
OR
2. Did not market your services or change service to existing customers

Letter submitted to CPUC's Energy Division that is signed by a person with authority to bind the which explains how (1) or (2) applies to the ESP.

Application Update Form

All registered Electric Service Providers

ESPs are required to file an annual update to their application form. Do not submit the Application Update Form until the Application Update Cover Letter has been updated for the current year.

October 7th, 2025

Regulatory Contact Info Update Request Form

All registered Electric Service Providers

ESPs are required to file an update with CPUC's Energy Division about any changes in contact information for their company
